Roger Federer defeated Romanian qualifier Marius Copil 7-6 (7/5), 6-4 on Sunday at the Swiss Indoors in Basel to win the 99th ATP Tour title of his career.

The Swiss now owns nine trophies from his hometown event and has won his last 20 matches at the tournament. It was his 12th successive appearance in the Basel final.
