Nigeria still technically at war—Ohanaeze

APEX Igbo socio-cultural organisation,Ohanaeze Ndigbo yesterday said  that Nigeria is still technically at war and warned of the consequences of the inability to truly defeat Boko Haram and contain the rampaging killer herdsmen in the country.

The spokesman of the group, Chuks Ibegbu in a statement said  “the impact of the one billion dollars the federal government recently earmarked and have started spending to contain security challenges in the country should be felt in the country.”

He warned politicians to stop over heating the polity and be more concerned about the future of the country than their personal ambitions.Insisting on the restructuring of the country ,Ibegbu called for investigation of the alleged mass graves discovered at Asa in Ukwa West local government area of Abia state with a view to establishing its veracity and culprits.

He called on Nigerians to take PVC registration serious and warned against any form of cloning of the PVCs or rigging of the coming elections.
