Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has said that defection by politicians across party lines is not about Nigerians.

SERAP on its Twitter handle said politicians who are moving from one party to the other were doing so for personal interests.

SERAP further said no politician has defected because of Leah Sharibu, Budget padding, Lack of clean water, Failing healthcare & electricity and Poor school infrastructure.

Make no mistake: Defection by politicians across party lines is not about Nigerians-it's about personal interests. So far, no politician has defected because of:
