Executive Director of the Foundation, Dr. Hope Usieta, made this known during a parley to announce the company’s activities for the foundation 30th anniversary

He stated that the money was meant for those with great ideas in agribusiness, adding that, the Agribusiness pitch is one in a host of activities designed to celebrate Leventis Foundation’s commitment towards enhancing livelihoods.

According to him, there will be a formal call to present a business plan for the “LFN@30 Agribusiness Pitch” – a platform for people with great ideas to win up to N2 million seed money for their business pursuits in Agriculture.

“To participate, agri-preneurs will employ the use of social media as means of application as well as the Leventis Foundation’s website portal where they can upload their business plan. The competition will run from August to early October 2018.

“The winners will be announced later in October and awarded in an exclusive Gala Dinner event to wrap up the celebrations.”
