OLEH—STALWART of the All Progressives Congress,  APC, in Delta State, Mr. Michael Emumena, has condemned the exclusion of a chairmanship candidate of the party in the state, Chief Fred Obe, from the reconciliation move of warring factions of the party in the state by the National Chairman, Mr Adams Oshiomhole,  despite  securing a court order restraining APC from recognising Chief Cyril Ogodo or any other person as Delta State APC chairman.

He said: “The court order has been violated by the party as both Chief Ogodo and Prophet Jones Erue were sworn in by different national chairmen of the party as chairmen.”

Addressing newsmen at Ozoro, Isoko North Local Government Area of the state,  Emumena said: “While the move to harmonise and bring aggrieved stakeholders in Delta APC together to form a formidable force ahead of the 2019 elections is long overdue, the purported reconciliation is non-inclusive.

“The reconciliation was arranged for the two factions that have been fighting a divisive battle, promoting impunity and dragging the integrity of our party to the mud while excluding other aggrieved stakeholders who have been working for a stronger and united party.”
