Christian Writers Association of Nigeria ,CWAN, has honoured one of its own, Kelicha Ochonogor for what it described as positively impacting humanity through the numerous books she has written.
Speaking during the award presentation in Lagos, National President of the association, Pastor Peter Morakinyo described Ochonogor as a gifted communicator and a prolific writer with an amazing energy.
He explained that within a short period, she had authored 11 books and still counting.
He said: “She offers lasting solutions on Bible principles through her books, to the youths, women, and men respectively.
“Within a space of two years, she had published 11 books among which are Understanding the Force of Liberty; Prayer Enhancers; Steps of Giants; Holiness; Understanding Glory; Power of Choice; Sacrifices of the Virtuous Women; Darling, It’s Not Working, United Nation, A Shadow in the Shade and A Dangling Sword.
Reacting to the honour, Ochonogor urged the Federal Government to encourage creative arts in the country.
She said: “When women publish books in some countries, large quantities are bought by their government. And they would be donated to libraries.’’
Ochonogor said most of her books centred on different aspects of life, adding that they encouraged people to become responsible.’’
