… Commences Lagos-Accra-Monrovia routes

Air Peace airline on Monday reiterated its commitment to unlocking the economies of West Africa countries by making access to the markets of these countries very easy and quick through air connectivity by commencing flight services from Lagos and Abuja to Roberts International Airport, Monrovia and from Abuja to Kotoka International Airport, Accra, Ghana .

The new routes are part of the third phase of the carrier’s network expansion project on the West Coast of Africa. Recall Air Peace launched its first regional flight out of Lagos to Accra on February 16, 2017. About exactly a year later on February 19, 2018, the airline added Freetown (Sierra Leone), Banjul (The Gambia) and Dakar (Senegal) to its route map.
Speaking about this renewed commitment at Roberts International Airport, Monrovia, Liberia during the inaugural flight on Monday, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Barrister Allen Onyema said the event is a“ pleasing consolidation of our efforts to unlock the economies of Africa, offer air travelers on business and leisure trips seamless connectivity as well as create jobs for the people .”
Onyema who was represented at the grand reception by the Liberia government and Airport authority by the airline’s Corporate Communications Manager, Mr. Chris Iwarah said the goal of Air Peace is to build a solid base to link African nations and connect the continent to the rest of the world by air. He also said with an expanded fleet of 24 aircraft, the airline is set to soon begin flights to many international destinations, including “ Dubai, Sharjah, Guangzhou-China, London, Houston, Mumbai and South Africa”.
The Air Peace Boss further said the launch of the new services will afford air travellers on the Lagos-Monrovia, Abuja-Monrovia, Accra-Monrovia and Abuja-Accra routes the option of “a truly efficient, customer-centric and exceptional alternative.
“Since the launch of the first and second phases of our regional flight operations , we have received pieces of positive feedback confirming how our operations have transformed air travel and eliminated the challenges of connectivity on the West Coast of Africa.
“We are determined to offer our valued guests an even greater experience in safe, on-time and efficient flight services. The inauguration of our Monrovia routes would bring our regional network to five important destinations. Lome, Abidjan, Niamey, Douala, among other cities, will also come on board soon”, Onyema revealed.
