A CHIEFTAIN of All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, in Abia State, Dr. ACB Agbazuere has said that Abia South should produce the governor of the state in the spirit of equity guiding the zoning of governorship position in the state.

Agbazuere, who said this in a statement, urged those opposed to the re-election of the state governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu to have a rethink.

His words: “Great Abians and the public, in the spirit of camaraderie, equity and greater development of our dear state, I feel challenged to call on all those contesting for the governorship position against  Okezie Ikpeazu to have a rethink and back down.  I think equity and performance are the two pillars upon which we should respect this position.

‘’Fortunately,  Ikpeazu who is from Abia South Senatorial District has served only one term and given his performance rating, he deserves a second term in office.  Anyone contesting for the governorship position of Abia State who  is not from Abia South Senatorial zone is being most unfair to equity, his conscience and the people of Abia State.”
