A former Special Adviser to ex-Deputy Governor Salmot Badru, Mr Omoniyi Adewale, has   declared interest in Ogun State 2019 governorship race on the platform of Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party (ANRP), pledging to   run a data – based governance.

Adewale, a statistician and data scientist, declared his ambition at the state Secretariat of ANRP in Abeokuta.

The aspirant, who hails from Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government Area of the state, called for   conscious efforts to   build governance, policy planning and execution on accurate knowledge of the people.

Adewale said he would build accurate and reliable database base of the people, their needs and locations, adding that such information would help in job creation for youths through internship, apprenticeship and entrepreneurship if he becomes governor.
