The Delta Heritage 2018 award has honoured indigenes who have distinguished themselves in various fields of human endeavour and contributed towards the advancement of the state.

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State was also lauded for his commitment to economic diversification, ensuring good governance and promotion of peaceful coexistence in the state.

Robinson Koyoyo, Principal Partner, Heritage Plus, stated this in Asaba, at the second edition of the award with the theme: Unlocking Delta’s Revenue Prospects Beyond Oil: A Private Sector Approach.

According to Koyoyo: “The second edition of the the Delta Heritage Award aimed at creating frontiers for investors to share ideas and possibilities, looking deeper into ways that can grow the economy of the state and create jobs outside the oil sector.

“Governor Okowa has provided quality leadership and has taken steps towards creating economic diversification whilst ensuring good governance and promoting peaceful coexistence in the state.”
