The Ijaw Monitoring Group, IMG, has called for the documentation of the struggles of Chief Oboko Bello, former president of the Federated Niger Delta Ijaw Communities, FNDIC, who recently clocked 60 years, for bringing lasting peace and justice to Warri and Ijaw.
The body, through Mr Joseph Evah, in a congratulatory message to the elder statesman, said it was sad that Ijaw land lacked resources to build their future, hence there was need to change the narrative by putting in writing the exploits of their great leaders.
“Oboko Bello is one of the very few that reminded the world that Isaac Adaka Boro did not die in vain,” he said.
