THE family of Dr. Ndutimi Dudafa, a sociology lecturer with the Bayelsa State owned Niger Delta University, who was abducted from his home in Gbarantoru in the Yenagoa   local government area of the state has appealed to his kidnappers to release him unconditionally.

Dr. Dudafa was reportedly abducted last Thursday at his residence by unknown gunmen at about 8pm and whisked away in a waiting boat at the community waterfront.

Though the incident was reported to law enforcement agencies, his abductors have not opened communication with members of his family as at the time of filing in this report.

Elder brother of the victim, Chief Ineye Dudafa, who made the appeal yesterday in Yenagoa noted with concern that the family was going through trying times because of the unfortunate incident. Chief Dudafa said: “we are appealing for his unconditional release in the name of God, let them consider that God exist and free him.
