He appealed to members of the party to conduct themselves peacefully and follow all the laid-down procedures by the committee constituted by the national leadership for the party to conduct the exercise.

In a statement, signed by Dayo Fasola on behalf of Ileri Oluwa Campaign Organization, Oyetola said the success and credibility of today’s event is the responsibility of all registered members of the party.

He, therefore, urged his Local Government and Ward Coordinators across the state to mobilise party faithful to shun financial inducements of any sort and resist violence before, during and after the primary.

The aspirant, who is also the Chief of Staff to Governor Rauf Aregbesola, said that the national leadership has provided the best and popular democratic opportunity for all party members to choose their governorship flag-bearer through direct primary.

Stressing the need to consolidate the achievements of Governor Aregbesola, he said who emerges as the APC candidate critical, and as  such, party members must unite as a formidable entity and discourage all forms of division that is capable of derailing the current pace of development in the state.
