The herdsmen have  wreaked havoc in this country and imposing a ban on their activities in all the affected states will stop the killings and clashes they have caused among  the villagers, farmers and Nigerians as a whole.

I support the ban  on the movement of cattle in all the affected states because it will stop the killings and encourage farming. Apart from this, it will end the clashes between farmers and herdsmen as the case may be.

In a situation like this, government’s response will underscore how responsible and sensitive it is to the plight of the citizens. This will adversely have an economic implication in the affected states. The remote cause should be identified and tackled. I support the ban  on open grazing by herdsmen in all the affected states but if the crisis persists, it means we all must go back to the drawing table to proffer solution to the killings so that Nigerians can  sleep with their eyes closed.

I am not really sure  because it has opened many things.
The killing has turned into religious and ethnic crisis. The recent killing of two Revered fathers and other people in Benue has given it another face.
The fact is that the killings could be the work of people who want to destabilise Nigeria.
