The launch which took place in Lagos over the weekend saw the Quickhelp team introduce and demonstrate to journalists and end users how the service will help to ease the way tasks are performed.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Tosin Odubela, CEO and co-founder Quickhelp Nigeria, explained that the service is quite unique because it provides the needs of users in a conversational way.
According to Odubela, the service is both web-based and on mobile phones. He explained further that at the moment they don’t charge for the service as it is still at the introductory stage but will monetize when the intended user target is reached.
Odubela also disclosed that Quickhelp will not be limited to Nigeria but will spread across Africa with the intention of revolutionizing how businesses are done on the continent.
His words: “Just like any other form of technology, AI has come to stay and the earlier we key into the it, the better for everybody because that is where the world is headed now.
“With Quickhelp, using the voice command, one could buy a pair of shoe at Yaba Market using our technology which will provide, using random algorithm, the right contact, the address and the phone number of that service provider.”
Odubela believes that Quickhelp will help both registered start-ups and existing businesses come out of obscurity and give them the much needed exposure that every business needs to thrive.
