SPECIAL Assistant to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, on Administration and Personnel, Pastor Johnson Odesola has enjoined Christians in the country to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) ahead of the forthcoming general elections.

Odesola made the call while addressing journalists after a monthly special prayer and thanksgiving service for exp-ectant mothers, medics and paramedics organised by RCCG’s national headquarters Throne of Grace Parish in Ebutte Metta, Lagos with the theme: ‘Hope for the Hopeless’.
The cleric encouraged Nigerians to participate in the forth-coming elections and secure their future with the Permanent Voters Card and vote for the candidate of their choice during the election.
According to him, voting is a civic right that must be obeyed by all eligible voters.
“Therefore it is important for the masses to get their PVCs as 2019 general election draws nearer when Nigerians will choose those to lead them for another four years,” he stated.
“Nigerians should be ready to vote for credible and God-fear-ing people to positions of auth-ority at all levels of governance. Those who are not serving us well should be voted out,” he advised.
Odesola also decried the kill–ings in Benue and other parts of the country, saying the pre-sent government should pro-tect the people.
The cleric, who supported the concern raised by American President Donald Trump, noted that every right-thinking person would decry the killing of innocent people in any part of the country.
