One of Nigeria’s prides in the United Kingdom, Vanessa Idada Amadasun is still basking in the euphoria of her birthday. Beautiful Vanessa who’s reputed for her rare humanitarian gesture turned a year older last week and it was another occasion for thanksgiving and service to humanity.
Vanessa, unlike other celebrity women did not roll out the drums to shut down the city, but rather she channeled her resources to a more worthy cause, as she launched her Safe Haven foundation to mark her birthday.
According to the information available, the foundation is aimed at alleviating the sufferings of the less privileged with particular interest in the people of Ovia North West in Edo State where she hails from. To demonstrate her commitment to this project dear to her heart, Safe Haven foundation has already hit the ground running with distribution of materials and there are plans in the pipeline to sponsor indigent students from disadvantaged background.
The epitome of beauty who prefers to be in the background has done a lot in the area of humanity. We gathered that the people of her constituency are mounting pressure on her to contest for a seat at the green chambers of the National Assembly in the next election.
