2019 elections might still be some few months away but the political landscape is already a beehive of activities as different political platforms strategize on their game plans. Interestingly, a forward-thinking non governmental organisation, Change for Africa, solely established with the mission of abolishing religion and ethnicity in electing African leaders who can position the continent as the leading giant of the world, is set to light up the Nigerian political space with a debate that can best described as mother of all debates.
According to the founder of Change for Africa foundation, Saheed Adelanwa “his team is leaving no stone unturned to bring back the essentials of a healthy political society by providing a credible platform for candidates to showcase their agendas when elected”. The foundation reputed for its integrity and unbiased operations in the build up to the 2015 elections is more committed to the Nigerian project.
In its efforts to enhance a better Nigerian society, the foundation had commenced consultation with traditional rulers from different zones in other to achieve the purpose of helping to channel the necessary energy in line with putting qualitative leadership in place.
On the exciting line up of events is a mega concert that will parade international acts and Nigerian artistes. The idea behind the concert is to draw the attention of the young population on the importance of getting involved in politics.
