PANDEF is not an Ijaw matter, Mulade tells Udengs

By Perez Brisibe

UGHELLI—SECRETARY of Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF, Alfred Mulade, has lashed out at the immediate past President of Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, Udengs Eradiri, over his comment against the forum, describing Udengs as “ignorant and arrogant” of the group’s objectives.

Mulade said: “For Udengs to say that we should restructure Ijaw nation first is misplaced and does not arise because we have never had PANDEF rally for Ijaw. PANDEF is not an Ijaw matter, but the regional voice of the South-South.

“He is only expressing ignorance and arrogance because the rally, which was attended by leaders from the South-South, was organised for the region, hence what he is saying is very wrong.”
