A chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State,  Ajie Oputa, has commended Skills Training and Entrepreneurship Programme, STEP, and Youth Agricultural Entrepreneurs Programme, YAGEP, initiatives of the state government, as they have created jobs for thousands of youths in the state.

Oputa  in a chat in Asaba also commended Chief Godswill Obielum;  Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Mr  Friday Osanebi; PDP Chairman, Ndokwa East Local Government Area, Chief Ugo Asebenua, among others for galvanizing the people of Ndokwa East towards achieving common goals.

Oputa said the state government had worked tremendously towards meeting the needs of the people of the state.

He commended the STEP/YAGEP schemes of the current  administration, which have not only created jobs/wealth for hitherto unemployed thousands of youths in the state but also made them self-reliant and employers of labour.

He attributed the achievements of the state government to the state leaders’ commitment, transparent leadership and good governance.
