Ndoma-Egba spoke when he paid a courtesy call on Dr Innocent Chukwuma at his Nnewi, Anambra State office.

During the inspection visit at Nnewi centre of Innoson Kiara Academy, the training arm of Innoson Group,  which currently has students from Presidential Amnesty Office, Ndoma-Egba said the commission will partner the academy to train thousands of Niger Delta youths and will start immediately with about 100 youths.

He said the training of the youths had become a necessity because NDDC wants to groom another kind of militants in the region, militants of knowledge and creativity, who will be job creators and  develop and build their region.

The NDDC chairman, during the visit, was amazed that Innoson factory was not just assembling vehicles but actually manufacturing made-in-Nigeria vehicles.

He promised Chukwuma that NDDC will lead other government agencies and parastatals in patronizing Innoson vehicles.

In his remarks, Chukwuma thanked Ndoma-Egba for his visit and assured him that the academy has the capacity in terms of space and human resource to deliver quality training to the Niger Delta youths that will make them outstanding.
