Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo is optimistic of a good outing for the national team, when they clash in a pre-World Cup friendly against Poland today.
The Eagles are 3-1 odds to beat the Poles at home, but Ighalo stated that with the calibre of players and the winning mindset of the team, they can shock the Poles.
“I am fully ready for the game and I’m sure other guys here are also in top shape for the match,” Ighalo told AOIFootball.com
“We know it won’t be an easy one but these are the kind of games we need if we must perform well at the World Cup in Russia.
“They will definitely not be a pushover team, but we have the players that can upset them right in front of their own fans,” Ighalo stated.
