YOLA—THE ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Adamawa State has recorded a major set back as a former governorship aspirant of the party in the 2014 general election, Chief Emmanuel Bello has dumped the party.

Bello, a former member of  House representatives from Hong/Gombi Federal constituency had also declared his bid for governorship race in Adamawa State next year.

Bello made the declaration in Yola while defecting to the Social Democratic, SDP, alongside his large supporters from across all the local government areas of the state.

According to him, the ideals of his former party have been bastdized by some dominant forces characterized by lack of internal democracy in the party.
