AN All Progressives Congress, APC, House of Assembly aspirant in the Isoko North constituency, Delta State, Mr. Lugba Anubi, has told the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, administration in the state to start preparing its handover notes, saying the APC would  take over the state’s government in 2019.

Speaking at Ozoro, Isoko North Local Government Area while declaring his intention to run for the state’s legislative position for the constituency, Anubi lamented that the Isoko nation had been relegated to the background in the 18 years governance of the state by the PDP.

He assured the people of his preparedness to deliver to them the dividends of democracy in all aspects of development if given the privilege to represent them in the state House of Assembly.

He said: “Successive PDP governments have failed Delta State woefully in all ramifications. While the state is currently the richest following this year’s federal allocations to states across the country, Delta is poorest in terms of development when compared to other states.

“Just few days ago, we saw a practical expression of dissatisfaction by the Isoko people who passed a vote of no confidence on the PDP government in Delta State, having obviously seen the incompetence of the state government to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people”.
