By Lekan Bilesanmi

The newly elected traditional ruler of Ojoto, the host community of the headquarters of Idemili South Council, Anambra State, Igwe-elect, Dennis Adindu Okafor, has called on Governor  Willie Obiano to remove two of his aides  from the panel set up to look into the processes leading to his emergence as the monarch of his community even as he advised that the panel be disbanded. Okafor explained why he walked out on the panel on Tuesday after he alleged that  the aides were interested parties in the matter.

He said his decision to show up for the panel hearing was principally to honour the state government, the governor and  officials, but  stated that he was not ready to be intimidated, so he walked out. The monarch insisted that he was elected according to laid down procedures.
