Barcelona must aim to pick up a positive first leg result against Chelsea to avoid their season taking a bad turn, according to defender Gerard Pique.

“You have to go there well prepared and ready for the challenge because a bad result can make you go from a very good year to one that isn’t so great,” Pique said.

“We want to go there to try to win and take the first step towards getting through the tie.”
