Super Eagles 2018 World Cup jersey has been trending and players like John Obi Mikel, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho have had their say.

 

Sportswear manufacturers Nike unveiled the kits the Super Eagles will wear at the World Cup. In a YouTube video, some of the players showed likeness for the new jerseys unveiled in London on Wednesday.

While reviewing the designs, Mikel said: “This is Nigerian. I can see the players going crazy over this one.”

Ndidi said “This is cultural, the fans are going to love this one”.

“This is different, you know,” Iwobi added, while Iheanacho added, saying “you know I love black, so this is perfect. I’m happy.”Former Eagles player Mutiu Adepoju said the Jersey could be a lucky charm for the Eagles in Russia.

On his twitter handle @mutiuadepoju8, he said “the kit reminds us of our jersey in USA 1994. Believe me, this kit could be our lucky charm in Russia.”
