MAKURDI— Benue State House of Assembly, yesterday, set up a four-man ad hoc committee to investigate the financial dealings of Benue Investment and Property Company, BIPC, under the leadership of Mr. Jack Mulya.

The committee, chaired by the Majority Leader, Mr. Benjamin Adanyi, has the Deputy Majority Leader, Mr. Nick Eworo, Majority Chief Whip, Mr. Titus Uba and the member representing Ogbadibo Constituency, Mr. Joseph Ojobo as members, while Mr. John Hwande would serve as Secretary.

The committee, which was given one week to submit its report to the House, is also to ascertain the reason the Managing Director of the company refused to avail the various standing committees of the House relevant documents for the purpose of oversight duties.
