During the signing at government house in Birnin Kebbi, Governor Bagudu thanked the state House of Assembly for passing the bill in time and assured that all contracts and other expenses of government will be done strictly according to lines of expenditure contained in the budget.

He also tasked the Assembly members on oversight function, saying such can put government on its toes, even as he promised that this year’s estimates will focus on the transformation agenda of the present All Progressives Party, APC-led administration in the state.

He called on the people of the state to remain calm and disregard any information or speculation which the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is transmitting to distract the people’s attention from what the government is doing.

Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Abdulmumini Kamba, while submitting the bill for accent, said the House ensured that the bill was passed in time so the governor will continue the good work he is doing.
