In a communique signed by 20 executives after an enlarged meeting with members of the party, they also expressed confidence in the leadership of Delta State governor in governing the state.

They commended them for their sterling qualities in piloting the affairs of the party at the state level, even as they applauded the Delta North Chairman of the party, Chief Moses Idu and the local government Chairman of the party (Aniocha North), Prince Victor Egbune.

The party stalwarts hailed the leadership of the party for the manner it conducted the local government elections in the state, which saw the fulfillment of the desires of the people, adding that it is good omen for the 2019 general elections as they are committed to deliver the state.

It will be recalled that in the just concluded local government election in the state, the PDP swept the 25 Local Government Councils in what has been described by observers as peaceful and credible polls devoid of violence and mayhem.

While allaying the fears of the public concerning the crisis in PDP, the party chieftains described it as mere rumours and an attempt to scuttle the prevailing peace and cordial relationship enjoyed by its members, even as they assured of a bigger and stronger PDP.
