Ikeja—Vice-Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, of 17 Southern states chapter, Archbishop George Amu, has assured that irrespective of the turbulent times, all will be well with Nigeria.

George Amu, said this   during an interactive session with newsmen on the state of the nation, held at his residence, in Ikeja.

He, however, called on politicians to eschew politics of bitterness and rancour and embrace peace, love and unity.

He said: “Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace has brought peace to the world including Nigeria, and we must allow peace, love, justice and equity to dominate our behaviours, actions and relationship with our fellow men and women.”

”In 2018, let us as Nigerians look behind us with understanding, before us with faith and around us with love. We, as Nigerians, should stand at the threshold of a new year. May God help us to be kind, fair and wise in all our affairs.”

Archbishop George Amu, one-time PCRC chairman, Zone Two Police Command, Lagos, patron Area ‘F’ Police Command, Ikeja, and member Board of Trustees Saint Gregory’s College, Obalende, Lagos, expressed sadness the way and manner “our politicians have been attacking President Muhammadu Buhari in recent times.”
