Be more united, Mai Tula tasks subjects

THE traditional ruler of Tula chiefdom in Gombe State, HRH Mai Tula Dr Abubakar Buba Atare II has called on his people of Tula and the entire Southern Gombe Tangale Waja to be more united.

HRH Mai Tula made this call on the occasion of this year’s Tula cultural day festival, which was made more outstanding with the presence of the Emir of Misau, Bauchi State, HRH Alhaji Ahmed Suleiman,mni.

The Bauchi Emirate is on record as having a history of Jihad battle with the people of Tula over 100 years ago, in which the people of Misau were defeated. The emir lost his life in the battle and his remains were buried in Sukube Baule District of Tula Chiefdom.

It was noted that the presence of the Emir of Bauchi signifies peace after decades and the start of a new relationship between the two traditional states.

HRH Mai Tula also thanked the Gombe State Governor, Ibrahim Dankwambo for the peace and development witnessed in all parts of the state, and also called on investors in tourism and mining to invest in Tula as an avenue for job creation to the teeming youths of Tula in order to harness the God-given blessings of Tula.
