President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo
The Minster of Communication, Adebayo Shittu, has confirmed that President Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo will be running for election come 2019.
President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the opening of a 2-day National Economic Council Retreat at the Statehouse Conference Centre on 21st March 2016.
Mr. Shittu, speaking with newsmen after a meeting with the President Buhari, said a campaign team that will lead the Buhari/Osinbajo ticket for 2019 will be called “Muhammadu Buhari/Osinbajo dynamic support group” and that on 20th of Jenuanry the South-west zonal office of the campaign organization will be commissioned.
Speaking he said: “I informed Mr. President that I have appointed national chairman of the board of trustees of Muhammadu Buhari/Osinbajo dynamic support group and on the 20th of this month we are commissioning the South-west zonal office of the campaign organization of Buhari/Osinbajo.”
