WARRI Boys Association, Lagos branch, has appealed to governors of the Niger Delta region to put the necessary machinery in place that will create a more friendly and conducive business environment for investors so as to lessen the current economic situation that is biting hard on the people.
Speaking to newsmen immediately after its monthly meeting, the association’s immediate past president and member of the Board of Trustees, BoT, Mr. Pius Enakerakpo, said one of the panacea to fast-track the immediate development of the region, especially Warri, was to encourage investors and indigenes living outside the region to come home and set up manufacturing industries that will provide employment opportunities for the millions of jobless youths who roam around on a daily basis looking for non-existing jobs.
Enakerapko, said that Warri Boys Association in Lagos and in the Diaspora is made up of members who are industrialists and creating jobs for other states in the country and outside Nigeria, but are afraid to come home.
He appealed to the governor of Delta State to call on the Warri Boys, Lagos, for a meeting on how to create an industrial friendly environment for them to come to the state and establish industries.
