lagos—Wife of the Chief of the Naval Staff and President of the Naval Officers Wives Association, NOWA, Mrs Theresa Ibas, weekend in Lagos, commissioned a skill acquisition centre for spouses of naval personnel, aimed at reducing their vulnerability in the event of major challenges in their families.

Speaking at the commissioning, she explained that the centre among other benefits would  also go a long way  in ameliorating the sufferings of widows and orphans of the naval family.

The NOWA president explained that the centre’s location inside the barracks at the Nigerian Navy Ship, NNS Wey, Navy town, Ojo, was strategic.
