Ex- Nigeria Ambassador to Spain, Bianca Ojukwu has in a chat with newsmen urged the people of Anambra state to continue their support for Governor Willie Obiano, noting that his developmental goals for the state would be achieved through their collective supports.

She made the call when Evang Chinedu Obigwe, the National Coordinator APGA Media Warriors Forum, paid her a visit at her Casabianca residence Enugu.

The former beauty queen commended Governor Obiano for making giant strides in all sectors of governance in the State, saying, when Nigeria was in recession most States were unable to pay their workers salary but Governor Obiano was paying Anambra workers regularly to the extent that he was nicknamed the “Alert Governor ‘.

Bianca however, described Governor Obiano’s landslide victory in the November 18th governorship election as a resounding verdict from Anambra electorate for a man that has succeeded in stamping his administration development footprint in the minds of his people.

She further said that the people of the State are proud of Governor Willie Obiano for changing the State bad narratives to good ones. “In the past Anambra state was known as the den of kidnappers, armed robbers and other vices but under Governor Obiano’s watch Anambra was transformed and recognized nationally as the safest State in Nigeria.”

“This is why I urge the good people of Anambra to continue their support for Governor Obiano’s administration for the actualization of his vision for the state”, she said.

On his own part, Obigwe described Her Excellency iyom Bianca Ojukwu as the lioness of igbo land. He commended the former ambassador for her valued contributions towards the actualization of Governor Obiano’s landslide victory in the November 18th election.

Obigwe also said that with the efforts of the former ambassador to Spain, Ojukwu legacy will remain alive.
