Though the socio-economic situation of the Nigerian society may have created a fertile ground for this development which is gradually becoming a norm.

Pretty afro-pop singing act, Sotonye Jane Pepple, better known as ‘Soti’, argues that love is beautiful but yet a very funny phenomenon which is why she never wishes to find herself in love with a man old enough to be her father.

“Love is  funny yet a beautiful thing but I do not desire to find myself in a situation where I would marry or be romantically involved with a rich man old enough to be my father.”

And when it comes to the matter Soti doesn’t mince words as she believes sex is very important in a relationship.

“Sex is very important; it helps couples connect better and even ease stress. I’m not going to say it is the most important thing in a relationship. Obviously there are other things that make a beautiful relationship, like respect, communication and so on”, she said.

Speaking further, Soti who is signed on to the same record label with Yemi Alade, bragged that though Yemi Alade is a star in the music making craft, she cannot stop her from shining.

“Yes, I will be able to shine because the only person I’m in competition with is myself and I believe that with hard work and perseverance I’ll definitely shine, no doubt. The sky is big enough for all of us”, she boasted.
