Asiwaju Bolarinwa Oluwole is gradually inching up in other spheres that could further advance his aspiration to clinch a coveted House of Reps seat in the next dispensation.
The Ogun state-born new breed politician was recently conferred with a prestigious award of Distinguished Personality of the Year, 2017, by the leadership of National Association of Polytechnic Students, NAPS, on account of his ever steady and ready support and contributions to the course of students and youth development in all its ramifications.
Many of the students, especially student leaders, attested to his kind gestures of supporting, facilitating and influencing students and youth empowerment schemes. He was honoured tremendously for being a distinguished and refined young personality. Interestingly, this new cap for the Okanlomo, is coming at a very audacious time for the House of Reps hopeful, who has not reneged on his avowed plans and intentions to selflessly serve his people when the opportunity beckons.
Asiwaju Bolarinwa, without being immodest, may clinch the ticket if the playing field is level, even as he is believed to be the most favoured among his co-aspirants; and this is no exaggeration.
The 40-year-old grassroots politician has since been notching up his potential as a federal legislator to be, and all the arithmetic and permutations point in his favourable direction, even outside his party. Give or take, the Okanlomo is already on a gliding spree to the Lower House of the National Assembly in Abuja, all things being equal.
