lagos—Ahead the 2019 general election, the All Progressives Congress, APC, leaders, chieftains and members in the Lagos East Senatorial Districts,  have expressed their support for the candidacy of the incumbent Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode’s in the 2019 gubernatorial election under the platform of the party.

The leaders, led by Senator Gbenga Ashafa, representing Lagos East Senatorial District at the National Assembly, and Otunba Bushura Alebiosu, the Lagos East Senatorial Leader, made the remarks, yesterday, at a stakeholders’ meeting and the General Assembly of APC in Lagos East, held at Ikorodu Town hall, Ikorodu Lagos.

Some of the APC leaders and chieftains at the meeting include, Senator Olorunibe Mamora, Omoba Sosanya, Chief Abiodun Ogunleye, Former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Sen. Anthony Adefuye, Rt Hon. Joko Pelumi, Mrs. Fausat Gbadebo, Lagos East Women Leader.

Others in attendance include Hon. Jimi Benson (House of Rep member, Ikorodu Constituency), Princess Aderemi Adebowale, Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji, Hon. Olusegun Oluade, member, Lagos House of Assembly, Pa Olorunfemi Bashorun, Chief Lanre Rasaq, Alhaji M. Gafar, among others.
