I Corinthians 6:9-10 says, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of them-selves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God”.
Every believer must ensure his/her life is free from any form of sin for that is the only thing that guarant-ees his/her salvation. Many claim to be born again but their lifestyles speak the opposite. Today even harlots, drunkards, thieves, liars, smokers, fraudsters, adulterers and fornicators lay claim to born again and are expecting to make heaven at last.
Some of them are even committ-ing crime with the name of God, while some put on white clothes as a symbol of righteousness but on it commit fornication and adultery. If you are involved in any of these lifestyles, I urge you to repent now or forget about heaven.
This is because heaven is for the prepared saints and not for the unready. If you wish to be in heaven, you must ensure you are truly born again and not like the unbelievers whose claims are spurious.
John 3:3 says: “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”.
Except you are born again, sancti-fied and redeemed, you will never make it to heaven. Carefree attitu-de or ignorance of the will of God cannot take you to heaven. Your making heaven will depend on your readiness to depart from the way of the world and accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour.
I John 3:9 says: “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God”.
A Christian is not a sinner neither is a sinner a Christian. Whoever that indulges in sin is not ready for the Kingdom of God. Those that are qualified to make heaven at last are those who are ready to depart from sinful life. They are those who search for God with all their hearts and ready to adhere to His precepts.
Luke 19:1-8 says: “And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the public-ans, and he was rich. And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, be-cause he was little of stature.
And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way. And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house. And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.”
This man was a serious and sin-cere seeker whose goal was to obtain salvation and make heaven at last. He was ready to do away with anything that could hinder him from making heaven including doing restitution. Those ready for heaven never struggle to take instructions and teachings from the Bible and will always want the perfect will of God to be done in their lives. They are always mindful of the companies they keep, what they do and where they are. Nothing should be done by a believer without him weigh-ing its implication to the life after. We must not be careless with our salvation so as to be ready at all times.
In the day of rapture, there will be no place for repentance and once it is over it will be difficult for anyone to make heaven again because, the grace shall be with-drawn by God hence making it impossible to make heaven. I implore you to repent now and not like Esau who began to repent when it was too late. Decide now and be ye also ready for the next agenda in God’s programme is rapture.
I John 5:13 says: “These things have I written unto you that be-lieve on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye ha-ve eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God”.
Paul the Apostle said he has brought all these counseling to you that you should do the needful and have eternal life. That you may see the evidence that the Kingdom of God has been provid-ed, and that you may, by your act-ion and reaction, be ready to po-ssess it. No one that refuses to get ready for the Kingdom of God made it at last. If you must make heaven you must not be defiled but pure in the ways of the Lord and obedient to the teachings of the word of God from the Bible.
Matthew 25:1-13 says: “Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto 10 virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bride-groom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh”
No one knows the hour, time, and place or how this next agenda of the Lord will happen and so we must endeavour to be watchful because this glorious experience of rapture shall be sudden.
Everyone should be ready and ensure righteousness or oil in his/her life’s lamp for there will not be adequate time or further announcement of rapture. You must be ready at all time. No one should be careless about his/her life, or fail to prepare for this coming great event. As many who will be ready it will be a great, memorable, and sweet event but those that are not ready, it will be a horrible, awful and dreadful experience.
Matthew 24:44 says: “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh”.
The Lord will come at the time you least expected Him, therefore, be ye ready so that you are not caught unawares. Our Lord will be happy for those who He shall found ready for the Kingdom, but will be very angry against those disobedient, unrepentant and wicked sinners that are not ready.
