MANAGING Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Mr. Nsima Ekere, has lauded  the staff  of the agency on their efforts to ease accommodation challenges in their areas of operations.

Ekere  spoke  after performing the groundbreaking for the housing estate project for Delta State staff of the commission at Ekresia Quarters, Orhuwhorun, Udu Council area, under the NDDC Staff Cooperative Investment and Credit Society Limited. The President of the NDDC Staff Cooperative Investment and Credit Society, Franklin Essien, said the phased staff housing project, spanning 28 acres of land for those in Delta, “is in line with federal government’s plan to provide affordable housing for the people, so we devised a strategy to acquire this land”.
