PROMOTER of the Maritime Management Series, MMS, has said that it will continue to celebrate promote women that have added value to the Nigerian maritime industry so as to serve mentorship for the younger generation of women.

Ina statement, Editor in Chief of the Weekly Newspaper, Mr. Kingsley Anaroke said that this year’s edition of the MMS Plus Woman of Fortune Hall of Fame (WoFHoF) provided an ambiance for bonding among several leading women in various crucial sectors of the nation’s economy to enhance the contributions of women in leadership via mentoring.

Similarly, Minister of Transport, Mr. Rotimi Amaech, who was represented by the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Shippers Council, NSC, Hassan Bello said, highlighted the need to cultivate a crop of young women to take over or to replace the ones going away to ensure that there is always sufficient human capacity in every sector.

Bello said, “The Ministry of Transportation will surely support such very important issue as mentorship and leadership.
