Poised to enhance health care delivery services in Nigeria and as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, LG Electronics visited Braithwaite Memorial Specialist Hospital, Port Harcourt, River State, where it donated units of Gencool Inverter Air Conditioners, Jet Cool Air Conditioners, as well as treated mosquito nets to the hospital.
Speaking at the occasion, Head of Corporate Marketing, LG Electronics West Africa Operations, Mr. Hari Elluru enthused: “We have remained competitive while improving sustainability; we have enabled investment and innovation required to deploy new technologies and to safely and responsibly develop progressive products. We believe that the air conditioning units and the other items we are donating today will improve service delivery in the hospital and provide the enabling environment for the medical personnel.”
Also speaking at the occasion, was the Regional Manager, Fouani Nigeria Limited, Mr. Moustapha Khrais who said: “This visit is aimed at reaching out to health institutions in the country. It is my firm belief that the items we are donating today will go a long way to empower this health facility by empowering the hospital staff to do their jobs more efficiently, and invariable meets the community’s desire to enjoy sound health.”
Receiving the items on behalf of the Management of Braithwaite Memorial Hospital, the Medical Director, Dr. Paul Ledee Kua, commended LG for the kind gesture. “We appreciate LG’s generosity and good will to our community. I call on other corporate organizations and good spirited individuals to emulate LG in responding to the needs of health institutions. By donating these innovative electronic products, LG has proven it is a brand that truly believes in the health sector.”
