Former Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor on Security and Isoko youth leader, Chief Fred Obey, has been described as icon and an inspirational leader who should be emulated by the youths in Nigeria.

Hon Tabuko Emmanuel, the 2019 All Progressives Congress (APC) Delta State House of Assembly aspirant and his campaign team made this assertion in Lagos to facilitate Obey’s birthday celebration yesterday, November 27th.

Tabuko, who described Obey as a role model said that the Isoko nation and Delta state, was a great state of the federation to have produced such a person (Obey).

According to Tabuko: ‘Chief Fred Obey, is a leader who inspires people around him. If the youths can emulate him, we will have a better society. He is the man I refer to as my role model. The mark of a true visionary leader is his ability to imagine the future and act on it, yielding great result in the process and then using this to the benefit of others.

Tabuko described Chief Fred obey as a freedom fighter who sacrificed all so that every youth in Isoko nation could live safely and created a platform where the youths could utilize their talents, thereby realize their dreams.
