A social group, Oliver Circle of Nigeria, has called for Improved collaboration between government and private sector in order to boost socio-economic development of the country.
Pioneer President of Oliver Circle of Nigeria, Chief Fassy Yusuf made the call in a statement ahead of the investiture of new executive members led by Prince Rasaq Quadri scheduled for this weekend in Ogun state.
Yusuf further stated that Nigerians particularly, those in need, stand to benefit more if government and the private sector devote more resources to the basic needs of the people including health, good road network, shelter and education.
He said to further ensure that the vision of the founding fathers is realized, the body had engaged majorly in philanthropic activities by reaching out to indigent students and providing some basic infrastructure for the people of Ogun state.
Among the guests invited to grace the occasion include; Olor‘ogun Sonny Kuku and Oba Y. O. Adekoya.
Otunba Jimi Lawal, who is the Special Guest of Honour, is expected to deliver a lecture on Community Development and Mobilization.
