Aubameyang was left out of the squad for Friday’s Bundesliga game against Stuttgart for ‘disciplinary reasons’ ; a match Dortmund eventually lost.
It was later suggested that Aubameyang’s indiscretions included partying during the international break coupled with his decision to film an unauthorised video on club premises with a freestyle footballer.
With his ban now over, the Gabon striker will return to the squad as the team turns its attention to the Champions League attempting to save an almost lost cause.
Chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke confirmed the return saying “A squad needs rules and, every now and then, you have to sharpen your senses. The decision is up to Peter Bosz and the coach has complete support from all sides.
“Auba is still a great guy. He will be back to normal on Tuesday. But he has no special rights – you have seen that again.”
