Anambra election : Voters in Nkpor, Anambra state have been reported to have fled Ilogwu Orie Nkpor polling unit, over Juju scare as charms were seen at the entrance of the polling unit with the inscription “Vote and Die.”

Voting commenced by 12.15pm at Odoakpu Ward 2 located at Central School Onitsha with enthusiastic voters queueing to cast their votes.

Senator Joy Emodi who voted manually following the failure of the card reader to function properly commended the peaceful manner the exercise was going on.

No violence has been witnessed at Aguleri and Nsugbe as electorates are waiting for their turns and a large crowd was noticed in the two towns.
