…as he launches football academy in Ondo

As part of commitment towards youths development, Alhaji Tajudeeen Adefisoye Chairman of Vata groups and Saydef has tasked stakeholders to contribute their  quota to the development of the nation by focusing on youth.

Adefisoye stated this recently as he donated cash price and sporting materials to the winner and runner-up of the 6-aside football competition sponsored by him in Ondo State.

The events which attracted an intimidating crowd of over five thousand spectators was described as the biggest event in Idanre town. While 12 teams competed against one another, with Guider FC topping the table at the initial stage.

Ajisec Fc and Ajidax Fc made the final, however, Ajidax Fc won with 2 to 1 goal. While award of recognition was given to the highest Goal Scorer and the most valuable player, cup finalists  were also provided with soccer booths and cash prizes  by Adefisoye.

Fielding questions from news men, Adefisoye placed the motivation for the program on his determination to provide positive leadership for his teaming followers by being a beacon of hope in order to spur youths to be determined, focused and re energized.

His words: “my ambition is to develop young talents by providing positive leadership that will make them self-reliant and self -developed by re-engineering them through self discovery and self actualization”.

The entrepreneur stated that apart from several empowerment programs such as giving schorlaship to indigenous students, granting of soft loans to young business men and women which he has done, promoting sporting activities cannot be overemphasized, putting in mind its efficacy in the total development of man for overall wellness, physical fitness and mental alertness.

He admonish the players in the words of the legendary footballer, Michael Irvin to “look up, get up and don’t give up”.

Adefisoye who is the chairman of Vata groups and  Saydef further added: “Selected footballers that have  distinguished themselves in the  competition would be admitted into the  Vata Football Academy and we promise to support them with all required to actualize their dreams of becoming professional footballers.

I therefore challenge stakeholders to contribute their  quota to the development of the nation by focusing on the youth since no Nation can be greater than the quality of her youth.
