To mark its 75th anniversary, the Torch Bearers Society of the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina, Lagos is to organise a lecture: “The role of Christians in National  Development”.

The lecture aims at addressing frequently asked questions by Christians, and this will be presented  by Prof. Olufemi Otubanjo on October 21.

The Chairman of the Society, Dr Oyeyemi Adegbite, said : “As the oldest and foremost male society in the Church, we intend to raise funds for the completion of the evangelical projects across our churches.  In this regard, we decided to use the anniversary lecture / breakfast, as well as the book launch on  November 23, as a platform to raise funds for the completion of Igboologun Church project.”
