THE Dania of Auchi Kingdom, Alhaji Usman Abuda, has admonished students of the Federal Polytechnic, Auchi to concentrate on their studies and make their parents proud rather than engaging in activities that will create tension in the community.

Alhaji Abuda, who faulted the allegation by the Students Union Government of the polytechnic, who appealed to the Minister of Education to prevail on the Rector, Dr Sanusi Jimah, to stop militarizing the institution, said the students were dabbling into administrative matters of the institution, which according to him, was not healthy.

‘’We want to advise students of the polytechnic to face the studies their parents sent them to do at Auchi Polotechnic and not to dictate how the school should be run administratively. Their primary concern is to read and sit for their exams. They should stop causing unnecessary heat. The acting Rector, Dr Sanusi Jimah, has been sincerely doing his best to ensure there is calm in the school.

Auchi community will not fold its hands and watch students misbehave. If they want to become unruly they will know the consequences. Their call on the Education Minister is uncalled for,¨ he stated .
